Self Portraits with Arthropods
The zoonotic origin of COVID-19 got us thinking about the ways our lives intertwine with many different (often overlooked) creatures. We ask : What role does photography play in challenging and/or re-enforcing notions of separation between humans and the rest of the natural world? How can images help dissolve perceptual barriers, broaden our understanding of the biosphere?

All living subjects for this series were mindfully captured and released within 100 feet of our studio in the northern Chihuahuan Desert.
